Commander is a growing supplier of avionics to the worldwide aerospace community including Domestic and International Military as well as to manufacturers of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs). Commander is an authorized government contractor through Central Contractor Registration (CCR). CCR is the primary registrant database for the U.S. Federal Government. CCR collects, validates, stores and disseminates data in support of agency acquisition missions.

UAV and Manned Avionics Systems
There are many parallels between UAVs and piloted aircraft when considering the basic avionics platform. New avionics infrastructure, image-processing and digital-map software, fiber-optic physical-layer components and interconnects, high-speed communications data links, and other components such as power supplies, RF backplanes, and portions of the Communications Navigation & Information (CNI) system are all critical to a more efficient, high-capacity, and affordable avionics capability of UAVs. The Pentagon's mandate considers the extensive developments in UAV technologies and translates them into rigorous applications in new manned combat aircraft involving a sophisticated, survivable, stealthy weapon system that will meet several military service performance requirements for decades, while achieving strict affordability targets. Ultimately the mix of the two concepts between unmanned and manned applications yield automatic features such as aggressive maneuvering, landing, and navigation. Commander continues to grow into the avionics supply side of this expanding industry.
