COMPONENT REPAIR AND OVERHAUL SERVICES
INSTRUMENTS
Class 1, 2, 3, 4 Instrument Ratings > Commander services most major brands of aircraft instruments including airspeed indicators, altimeters, master altimeters, station altimeters, encoding altimeters, altitude encoders, air data computers, engine instruments, manifold pressure, manifold pressure/fuel flow, magnetic compasses, Horizontal Situation Indicators (HSI), Flight Directors (FD), standard, remote and autopilot gyros and autopilot components including computers, servos, and various related components. Instruments are tested, repaired and overhauled in our full service instrument facility by experienced factory and in-house trained technicians. We specialize in Century Flight Systems (Formerly Edo-Aire Mitchell) NSD-360 HSI overhauls, Bendix/King KI525A PNI repairs, Bendix/King KG102A Remote Directional Gyro overhauls, United Instruments and Sigma-Tek repair and overhaul. Commander prides itself not only with the internal quality of instrument overhaul but the external cosmetics of the finished product as well. Attention to detail is our trademark.
AVIONICS
Class 1, 2, 3 Radio Ratings > Commander is a factory authorized service and warranty center for all major original equipment manufacturers. COMMUNICATION TRANSCEIVERS, NAVIGATION RECEIVERS, ATC TRANSPONDERS (Mode A/C & S), GPS, MFD, DME, and RADAR equipment are among the many items supported in our full service avionics facility by our experienced factory trained technicians. Commander specializies the sales and service of a full line of Bendix/King - Honeywell Aerospace as well as Garmin Aviation products. Commander is a Honeywell and a Garmin authorized service center.
AIRCRAFT SERVICES
INSTALLATION AND AIRCRAFT ALTERATIONS
Commander distributes a full range of avionics products representative of major manufacturers and provides installation services, system troubleshooting, and component removal and installation throughout the Carolinas at participating approved maintenance facilites.
TECHNICAL SUPPORT, INSPECTIONS AND AIR CHARTER/AIR CARRIER SERVICES
Commander provides testing and inspection of RVSM Certified Aircraft, FAR 91.411 & FAR 91.413 Compliance Inspections, Mode A/C/S ATC Transponder Configuation and Inspections, and TCAS I/TCAS II/TIS Operational Testing on a limited mobile service basis within a 50 mile radius of the Charlotte, NC area. Commander also provides these services throughout the Carolinas at participating approved maintenance facilites. Commander is an FAA Approved Drug and Alcohol Abatement Program participant for FAR Part 135 and FAR Part 121 Operator services.
ADDITIONAL SERVICES
Commander's limited airframe rating is extended to the testing, inspection, repair, and installation of Anti-Collision and Supplemental Lighting Systems/Components. Specialized on-aircraft services as well as full turbine and jet aircraft inspections, maintenance, management, and charter services.
